Dr. Lun-Hsiang Yuan
Deputy Director of Urology, National Taiwan University Hospital, Yunlin Branch
Dr. Lun-Hsiang Yuan is a robotic urologic surgeon and clinical-AI researcher. He serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Urology at National Taiwan University Hospital, Yunlin Branch, where he founded and leads Asia's highest-volume Senhance robotic surgery program (341+ cases). He is a Ministry of Education certified Assistant Professor at National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University / National Taiwan University, and holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University with dissertation research on large-language-model and MRI-AI applications in urologic oncology. His work bridges high-volume robotic surgical practice with evidence-based AI evaluation in clinical oncology.

J. Michael Hwang
Founding director · Apex AI Institute
J. Michael Hwang is the incorporator of Apex AI Institute Inc. and a founding director responsible for governance and financial oversight. A Texas Certified Public Accountant and AICPA Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), he has served in VP Finance and CFO roles for more than two decades across cross-border industrial corporations — including Volkswagen's Diesel and Turbomachinery subgroup (10 years), Valmont Industries, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Philips Electronics, OMK Tube, and Continental Motors. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration from China Medical University (Taiwan) and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.

Dr. Jianda Yuan
Senior Clinical Director, Head & Neck Late Oncology Product Development, Merck Research Laboratory
Dr. Jianda Yuan is a translational immuno-oncologist with two decades of experience spanning academic immuno-oncology and industry late-phase development. He currently serves as Senior Clinical Director on the Head and Neck Late Oncology Product Development Team at Merck Research Laboratory (Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ), where he leads clinical development for late-phase head and neck cancer programs. He previously served as Senior Clinical Director in Translational Oncology at Merck (2016–2021), and earlier as Faculty and Director of Immune Monitoring at the Ludwig Center for Cancer Immunotherapy, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2006–2016). He completed his MD at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and his PhD at the Cancer Hospital, Graduate School of Fudan, followed by postdoctoral training at Columbia University.
