Mission

Harness AI to advance human health, in ways the public can trust

Core mission

The mission of AAI is to harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence to advance human health and elevate human potential. By pioneering research in precision healthcare, accelerating novel drug development, and innovating educational methodologies, AAI is dedicated to translating complex technological breakthroughs into accessible, altruistic solutions that serve the global good.

Vision

To be a trusted catalyst where artificial intelligence meets human empathy — where life-saving therapeutics move from idea to evidence more quickly; clinical care grows more personalized; and medical education is open, rigorous, and universally accessible.

Four strategic pillars

Our charitable purpose spans four pillars. Our current focus is Pillars 1–3 — using AI to advance drug development, medical education, and small business operations. Pillar 4 remains a future direction, to be pursued through separately-organized entities if pursued at all.

1Current Focus

Using AI to advance end-to-end drug development

Machine-learning methods applied across the drug-development pipeline — biomarker innovation, novel target identification, investigator and site selection, and smarter Phase I/II trial design — reducing the distance between laboratory signal and first-in-human evidence.

2Current Focus

Using AI to advance medical education

Open, accessible curricula co-taught with higher-education partners — giving pre-medical students, clinicians, and the public the knowledge required to use AI responsibly in healthcare settings.

3Current Focus

Using AI to advance small business operations

Open-source curricula, recorded talks, and practical tooling that help solo and small practices, community organizations, and developers put AI to work in daily operations — delivered as public education, not paid consulting.

4Future Direction

Ethical AI Literacy for Communities

Public workshops, whitepapers, and open frameworks that help communities — including small local enterprises — understand how AI can be integrated safely and ethically. Delivered as public education, not paid consulting.

Future directions

  • Pillar 4 · Broader Ethical AI Literacy & LLC Spinoffs

Commercial consulting activities are intentionally excluded from current scope and will be pursued through separately-organized for-profit entities if pursued at all.

What we are not

  • A commercial AI consulting firm.
  • A sponsor-funded clinical research organization (CRO) for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A for-profit education provider. All curricula and materials are released under open licenses.

Paid services — should the board ever pursue them — would be organized through a separately incorporated for-profit entity on fair-market-value terms and fully documented in the board minutes.
